Getting Spoil Off Site as Fast as It's Dug

Excavated material has to go somewhere, and on most sites there's nowhere to put it. A spoil pile eats into the working area, blocks access for deliveries and ends up handled twice by the time it finally leaves. At Huey's Haulage, we handle soil removal across Port Stephens, carting excavation spoil, clay, dirt, rock and clean fill away as it comes out of the ground.

Loads can run continuously alongside an excavation crew, or be booked around the dig where the site has room to stockpile. Where the digging is ours as well, it's coordinated through our excavator hire.

Call 0439 896 167 with your site access and an idea of volume.

What We Cart & How It's Handled

What comes off a site decides where it can go, so material type matters as much as volume.

  • Clean fill and virgin excavated natural material can often be reused elsewhere rather than sent to landfill. We look for a nearby placement site where one exists, which usually works out cheaper than tipping it.
  • Clay and heavy wet spoil load slower and place harder, so we price and schedule them differently to dry material. Wet weather changes this quickly, which is why load counts can shift after rain.
  • Mixed excavation waste containing brick, concrete or rubble needs sorting, or disposal at a facility licensed to accept it. We confirm what's in the material before quoting, because misclassified loads get rejected at the gate.
  • Restricted-access sites in tight residential streets suit smaller tippers running more frequently rather than one large truck. We size the truck to the street and the driveway, not just to the volume.
